Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Skilled Radiology and X-ray Technologists are needed for an immediate contract opportunity supporting a busy neurosurgery and neurology office in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on imaging services for both adult and pediatric outpatient populations, primarily involving head and spine studies in a high-volume clinic environment.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
  • Typical hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm
  • No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
  • Free on-campus parking provided

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in diagnostic imaging, specifically radiology/X-ray tech duties
  • Active ARRT certification and BLS required
  • Confident working in fast-paced clinical settings
  • Strong experience with c-arm imaging technology; familiarity with Shimadzu X-ray and GE OEC preferred
  • Experience with both adult and pediatric populations, with comfort in typical diagnoses such as scoliosis, shunt, and spine series (training provided if needed)
  • Openness to office/admin tasks, such as preparing CDs or documentation
  • Experience with EPIC EMR and Intellaspace PACS a plus
  • Able to start ASAP

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality radiologic and injection imaging for outpatient neurologic and spine procedures
  • Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, fellow techs, and providers for optimal patient flow and care
  • Support fast-paced clinics averaging 60 imaging patients daily
  • Maintain department standards for safety and accuracy
  • Rare floating to other campuses or departments, with support provided as needed
