Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract School Psychologist serving one elementary and one high school in the Colorado Springs area. In this full-time, itinerant role, you'll collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and families to address the diverse needs of students by performing assessments, crafting intervention plans, and offering ongoing support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Colorado licensure as a School Psychologist is required
  • Previous experience working in K-12 schools, with familiarity across elementary and high school settings
  • Strong understanding of educational assessments, individualized education plans (IEPs), and behavioral interventions
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable approach to working with different school populations and environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students requiring special education services
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and families to design effective interventions
  • Offer counseling and support to students, helping promote positive academic and social outcomes
  • Travel between assigned elementary and high school sites as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
