Competitive annual salary ranging from $136,822 to $179,379, plus potential earning of up to $10,000 annually through incentives Excellent benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, CME allowances, paid malpractice, retirement plans, relocation support, and paid time off Work at a top-rated high-acuity medical center with opportunities for professional growth and leadership in trauma surgery Quick Facts Location: 2500 Rocky Mountain Avenue, Loveland, CO 80538 Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: Permanent position Shift: Nocturnist overnight shifts, typical shift length to be confirmed Hours/week: 40+ hours Employment Type: Full-Time Licenses/Certifications: Colorado Medical License, Physician Assistant Certification (Required) Experience: Minimum 2 years trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship preferred; not suitable for recent graduates Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Benefits include: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid malpractice coverage CME allowance of up to $3,500/year + 5 CME days Retirement plans with employer match Paid time off, family and medical leave, and education assistance up to $5,250/year Relocation assistance up to $10,000 (eligible candidates) Paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive trauma and surgical care during overnight shifts Manage trauma admissions, emergency general surgeries, and inpatient cases Perform evaluations, develop care plans, interpret diagnostic tests Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitation, and operative support Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain documentation in Epic EMR Support quality and safety metrics, contribute to performance improvements Engage in ongoing professional development and leadership opportunities What You Need Required: Colorado Medical License and Physician Assistant Certification At least 2 years of trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship Ability to work autonomously, handle complex tasks, and collaborate effectively Preferred: Experience in high-acuity surgical environments Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This role is based at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado, a leading facility recognized for its high-quality trauma and surgical services.
