School of Dentistry - OMFS Adjunct Faculty
Job Description
The University of Utah School of Dentistry (UUSOD) seeks qualified candidates for a faculty position in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS), working approximately 1-2 days per week (0.2 FTE). The UUSOD is committed to excellence in education, patient care, and service to underserved populations across Utah.
\nResponsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Didactic, simulation, and clinical teaching
\n - \n
Work collaboratively with all UUSOD sections, including pediatrics, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral pathology, general dentistry, and periodontics

Minimum Qualifications
\n- \n
- \n
Possess a DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree and be eligible for an unrestricted dental license in Utah. Requirements for a Utah dental license are found on DOPL.

Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
\n
Preferred Qualifications

Background in teaching or higher education

Background in clinical practice
\n
The school fosters a humanistic, evidence-based approach to education and patient care.
