\nRWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Subacute Hospitalist Director to support our Skilled Nursing Facilities in New Jersey.
\nThis leadership opportunity offers physicians the ability to combine clinical excellence with administrative oversight while practicing within the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey.
\nThe Subacute Medical Director will oversee the delivery of high-quality medical care across affiliated Skilled Nursing Facilities. This role includes the management of post-acute and chronic medical conditions, development and supervision of patient care plans, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and continuity of care.
\nThe Medical Director will provide leadership and oversight for subacute providers, promote clinical quality initiatives, and support operational excellence within participating facilities.
\nCandidate Requirements:
\nBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
\nLicensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of NJ
\nAdditional training and/or certification in Geriatrics preferred
\nFlexibility to travel between Skilled Nursing Facilities
\nAbility to participate in a shared group call model
\nPreferred candidates will have:
\nMinimum 5+ years of clinical experience Strong clinical leader with experience driving improvements in quality and safety
\nCommitment to academic excellence including prior experience in resident education and clinical research
\nABIM Certified
\nAll candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
\nCandidate should have exceptional interpersonal skills, strong clinical background and keen understanding of how to drive and maintain clinical quality standards
\nPaid Transparency
\nThe anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $175,000 - $385,000 per year.
\nThe compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
