Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Neurosurgeon to join a hospital-based practice in McAllen/Edinburg, Texas. This role is centered on advanced cranial neurosurgery, including complex brain tumor resections, cerebrovascular procedures, and skull base surgery, with spinal cases as a complement to a primarily cranial caseload. You will work alongside a strong, collaborative care team with full institutional support, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional cranial neurosurgical care.

\n * Practice Setting: Hospital-based neurosurgery group within South Texas Health System (STHS)
\n * Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary team including neurosurgeons, APPs, and support staff
\n * EMR / Technology: Cerner electronic medical record system

\n Responsibilities
\n * Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care for cranial patients
\n * Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to deliver optimal outcomes
\n * Manage inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical cases and shared call responsibilities
\n * Document all patient care efficiently using Cerner EMR

\n Qualifications
\n * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
\n * Active or eligible Texas medical license
\n * Experience in cranial and spinal neurosurgery required
