Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid and active Texas School Psychologist credential/licensure (current license documentation required)
• Prior school-based experience working with diverse student populations
• Availability for on-site work; possible hybrid arrangement for report writing may be considered
• Full-time availability (37.5 hours per week)
• Reliable transportation to travel between assigned campuses
• Ability to obtain HISD fingerprinting clearance within the first three days of contract signing
• Detailed and up-to-date resume reflecting relevant school-based psychological services
• Bilingual proficiency or a doctoral degree (PhD) is a plus

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments, counseling, and consultative services to students
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support individualized plans and interventions
• Support the academic and emotional development of students across multiple campuses
• Adhere to all district and Texas state regulations related to special education and student services
• Maintain accurate records and timely reporting of student progress
