Desired Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification (state or national level)
• Master’s or specialist-level degree in school psychology or a closely related field
• Demonstrated experience with psychological assessments, intervention planning, and counseling within a school setting
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and special education processes
• Ability to work effectively with students preschool through high school
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students referred to special education services
• Interpret assessment results and make recommendations for individualized support
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor interventions
• Provide direct counseling services to support student social-emotional development
• Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making
