Director of Nursing needed for a Nursing home in Amsterdam, NY.

One of our premier New York healthcare clients is seeking an experienced Long-Term Care Director of Nursing for an immediate interim leadership assignment.

• $75/ hr
• 13-Week Contract | 40 Hours/WeekPrimarily Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Flexibility Required
• On-Call Responsibilities Included

DUTIES:

• Supervises all nursing staff in the facility
• Development and implementation of nursing policy and procedure
• Overseeing the hiring and continued employment of nursing staff
• Ensuring there is adequate nursing staff, and that the staff's skills remain current
• Overseeing nursing employee conduct
• Being knowledgeable of incidents at the facility
• Assessing the health needs of each resident

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current State RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long term care and supervisory experience
