Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) - Liberty, Missouri

Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field, National certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent), and 1–2+ years recent hospital lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Advance your laboratory career by contributing essential skills as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician. This role supports vital diagnostic services in a fast-paced clinical environment, with a primary focus on accurate sample analysis and reporting.

Schedule:

• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant laboratory science field
• Experience operating and troubleshooting laboratory equipment
• Proficiency in specimen collection, processing, and analysis
• Working knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control protocols
• Ability to interpret and validate laboratory results
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized lab tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology
• Document and report findings to support clinical diagnoses
• Adhere to quality control standards and maintain accurate records
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
• Participate in continuing education and departmental meetings
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
