Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification required
  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Demonstrated experience working within K-12 educational environments
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
  • Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations
  • Understanding of IEP development, 504 plans, and special education law
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain accurate documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments and interpret data to support student learning and development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to determine intervention and eligibility for special education services
  • Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote a positive school climate
  • Consult on the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide training and resources to school staff regarding mental health and effective classroom strategies
  • Maintain up-to-date and confidential records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
