Facilities Maintenance Tech

Mancan is working with a company in Walnut Creek looking for a facilities maintenance technician. This is a temp to hire opportunity. This is a first shift position with hours varying based upon needs. Weekends are rotating and on-call. Pay is based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, grills, refrigeration units, freezers, dishwashers, ice machines, and food preparation equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on all kitchen equipment.
- Replace worn or defective components, including motors, belts, switches, thermostats, and electrical components.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs when necessary.
- Perform general building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, flooring, and lighting repairs.
- Inspect and maintain building systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of electrical systems is required. Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing is a plus but not required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Valid driver's license required.
