Opportunity Overview-
Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
- Full-time consists of 4 days per week
- Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM
- Location: Grand Rapids, MI
- Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Hospital Information: Trinity Health Grand Rapids
- Provider Team Size: 11 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Professionals
- Office/Support Team: Collaborate with 1.5 MA/RN support during patient care, including phone triage RNs, BOC, Surgical Schedules, Office Lead, and Office Supervisor
- Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Involvement with Residents and Medical Students

Call Requirements: Current call is 1:9, with 24-hour shifts (7 AM to 7 AM)
- Weekend call spans from 7 AM Friday to 7 AM Monday
- Weekend duties are typically shared but can be taken entirely by one physician
- All weekends and holidays are equitably divided among call partners
- Weekend call spans from 7 AM Friday to 7 AM Monday

- Physicians must be board certified in their respective specialty or achieve certification within the timeframe set by the relevant specialty board.
- Possession of an active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain one)
- DEA license required
- ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
A typical day may involve:
- Delivering direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

- Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
