Make a positive impact supporting students across a leading educational community as a School Psychologist. Work on a contract basis for the 2026-2027 school year to provide vital psychological services throughout Porter County. With a home base at the SELF school, you’ll travel to multiple sites, collaborating with dedicated professionals and using your expertise to foster academic success and emotional well-being.

What you’ll bring:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license (state requirements apply)
  • Previous experience delivering psychological services in K-12 schools preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and behavioral intervention skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse caseloads and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities
  • Commitment to meeting the individual needs of students in a countywide setting

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations
  • Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student concerns
  • Deliver individual and group counseling sessions as needed
  • Provide crisis intervention, behavioral support, and preventative services
  • Stay current with educational best practices and legal compliance
