• Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Travel may be required up to 25% to Community Based Outpatient Clinics.
• Conduct comprehensive ophthalmologic evaluations and consultations, both inpatient and outpatient, including diagnosis, treatment, surgical procedures, postoperative care, and follow-up management across various subspecialties of ophthalmology.
• Collaborate with other specialties to ensure integrated patient management.
• Participate in call coverage, surgical rotations, and urgent ophthalmologic assessments.
• Oversee the daily operations of the ophthalmology clinic, including scheduling, patient flow, and service coordination.
• Develop strategic initiatives for program expansion, resource management, and enhanced access to ophthalmology services.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
• Eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program may be available (up to $200,000 over five years).

• Competitive Salary Range: $359,000 - $385,000.

• Board Certification in Ophthalmology.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience; experience with veterans is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; non-citizen candidates may be considered if no suitable U.S. Citizen is found.
• Possession of a current, full, active, and unrestricted medical or surgical license in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth, including the District of Columbia.
