Licensed Occupational Therapist

As a full-time or part-time Licensed Occupational Therapist, your primary role will involve assessing the functional capabilities of residents and crafting tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing their independence in daily tasks. You will engage in hands-on therapy, work alongside interdisciplinary teams, and ensure the delivery of top-notch rehabilitation services that align with the aspirations of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess residents’ functional, cognitive, and psychosocial needs through standardized evaluations.
  • Create and execute individualized treatment plans to enhance daily living skills, mobility, and safety.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions, including training on adaptive equipment, therapeutic exercises, and functional retraining.
  • Provide education to residents, families, and staff on methods to support rehabilitation objectives.
  • Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and other team members to ensure coordinated care.
  • Adhere to all relevant state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice.
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.
