This role presents a remarkable chance to engage in comprehensive clinical cardiology while playing a vital role in the education and care of a diverse urban patient demographic.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of 12 cardiologists and 8 advanced practice providers, offering a complete range of cardiovascular services, including advanced electrophysiology and interventional cardiology.
Clinical Responsibilities- Engage in a comprehensive non-invasive cardiology practice, covering both inpatient (CCU/consultative services) and outpatient care.
- Interpret stress tests, ECGs, and ambulatory rhythm monitoring.
- Perform advanced echocardiography, including transesophageal and stress echocardiography.
- Explore opportunities in cardiac imaging, such as nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT, with potential involvement in cardiac MRI based on your training and interests.
- Supervise and educate cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students through our academic collaboration with the University of Colorado.
Required:
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
- Level II echocardiography training.
- A strong commitment to team-based care and serving a diverse, multicultural patient population.
Preferred:
- Advanced echocardiographic skills (3D echo, strain imaging).
- Level III echocardiography and/or NBE certification.
- Certification in nuclear cardiology and/or cardiac CT.
- Experience with procedural TEE.
