In your role as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role within a committed team, providing top-notch care to patients in a 20-bed unit featuring private rooms. You will collaborate closely with a charge nurse and nursing aides to ensure holistic patient care. Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Delivering comprehensive care for both adult and pediatric patients
- Administering prescribed medications and treatments
- Working with a multidisciplinary team to create and execute patient care plans
- Utilizing EPIC for managing electronic medical records
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting
- Experience caring for both pediatric and adult Medical Surgical patients
- Willingness to work every other weekend and one major holiday
