Critical Care/Pulmonary Physician for Mercyhealth System, Freeport IL - $470,000 to $500,000

Mercyhealth System in Freeport, Illinois, is currently seeking a Full-Time Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Critical Care Physician to join our expanding ICU team.\n

This is an inpatient nocturnist opportunity offering the ability to practice high-acuity critical care.

• Full-Time Position - 2,184 annual hours
\n
• 7 on / 7 off
\n
• 12-hour shifts:
\n
• 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. (In-house ) or
\n
• 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. (In-house )
\n
• Includes weekends and holidays
\n

• Critical Care and Pulmonary Inpatient (Covering Tele at our other Mercyhealth Sites )

• Pulmonary Outpatient
\n

Departmental Scope:\n

\n
• \n

  Level 2

\n
• \n

  8 Bed ICU

\n
• \n

  Typical diagnoses are post op general surgery, mechanical ventilation, sepsis, substance abuse/withdrawal, and DKA.

\n
• \n

  Open ICU with a strong Hospitalist team

\n
• \n

  High acuity to transfer to JBH and MHTC

\n

Required Qualifications:\n

\n
• \n

  MD/DO Board Certified or Board Eligible

\n
• \n

  Fellowship trained in Pulmonary/Critical Care

\n
• \n

  Eligible for Illinois medical licensure

\n
• \n

  Strong clinical expertise in high-acuity ICU settings

\n
• \n

  Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

\n

\n

Compensation & Benefits:\n

Base Salary: $470,000 to $500,000
