Job Description
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible fellowship-trained Non-Invasive Cardiologist to become a part of our well-established, hospital-affiliated Heart & Vascular practice. Our team consists of experienced professionals, including:

We offer two compensation options:
- Option 1: A base salary of $590,985, which aligns with the 50th percentile of MGMA for recent graduates. This amount is guaranteed for two years, with the possibility to transition to a wRVU production contract upon exceeding targets.
- Option 2: A base salary of $724,177, reflecting the 75th percentile of MGMA, guaranteed for one year before switching to a wRVU production contract.
Note: A 5% reduction applies for those who are not yet board certified, with salary adjustments made upon certification.
Contract Benefits- Vacation: 29 days of paid time off (PTO), with an additional 5 days of PTO for achieving 75th percentile wRVUs.
- CME/Books & Journals: 5 days of PTO and up to $5,000 for continuing medical education.
- Deferred Compensation: 457b plan allowing deferral up to the IRS limit of $23,000 annually before taxes, with no matching contributions.
- Retirement/Savings Plan: 403b plan permitting deferral up to the IRS limit of $23,000 for those under 50 and $30,500 for those over 50, with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 2% of base pay.
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 provided for moving expenses.
- Malpractice Insurance: Coverage under a claims-made policy with limits of $2,000,000 per claim and $6,000,000 aggregate.
- Health Insurance: A small premium deducted from paychecks.
- Liquidated Damages: A non-compete clause of 70 miles for two years, or liquidated damages equivalent to one year’s salary.
- CERP (Pay for Call) Program: Details provided by the VP of Finance.
- Bonus Incentives: Potential bonuses up to 10% of salary.
- Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000, with $25,000 per year for each year of service commitment.
- Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000, contingent on a two-year service commitment.
- Sign-On Bonus: 15% of base salary, up to $100,000, paid upon contract signing and forgiven over 2-4 years.

Work Schedule- Office Hours: Monday to Thursday from 7 AM to 6 PM, and Friday from 7 AM to 12 PM.
- 7 Physicians (including Interventional, Non-Invasive, CT Surgery, and Vascular Surgery specialists)

- 3 Surgery Schedulers

- Weekend rotation: 1:3
- Night rotation: 1 night per week
- Opportunity to earn additional compensation through the CERP (Pay for Call) Program.
- Outpatient Clinic: Approximately 10 patients per day
- Inpatient: Based on hospital census

Our organization has a total of 248 staffed hospital beds and serves a community of approximately 250,000 residents. Established in 1966 as a not-for-profit entity, we employ over 2,700 individuals and have a medical staff of more than 300.
We also offer teaching opportunities for medical students, residents, and advanced practitioner trainees. Staff members are eligible for Clinical Adjunct Faculty status with a local university.
