School Psychologist (K–12)
Location: Blanding, Utah
Assignment Dates: August 17, 2026 – May 28, 2027
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students across a rural school district while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
Position Details
Assignment Dates: August 17, 2026 – May 28, 2027
Schedule: Full-time or part-time (to be determined)
Daily Hours: Approximately 4–7 hours per day
Student Population: Kindergarten through 12th grade

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students in grades K–12.
Participate in eligibility meetings and assist with special education evaluations and planning.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to support student success.
Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications
Current Utah School Psychologist license required.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams.

The majority of students served have eligibility classifications including:

Emotional Disability
Travel Requirements
This position serves a district with 12 schools, with the majority of services provided across 10 schools. Candidates working onsite should expect regular travel between school sites, as the district covers a large geographic area. Virtual service delivery may also be considered, with district paraprofessionals assisting with student scheduling and facilitation between schools.
