Part-Time School Psychologist – 2026–2027 School Year

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to join a supportive school team for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, in-person position is located in Alsip, IL and serves a PreK–8th grade caseload of approximately 30 students.

The ideal candidate will support students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success through evaluation, consultation, collaboration, and participation in the special education process. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with educators, families, and support staff in a student-centered environment.

Position Details

Pay: Starting at $50+/hour (based on experience)
Location: Alsip, IL
Schedule: Part-Time, In-Person
Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Student Age Range: PreK – 8th Grade
Caseload: Approximately 30 students
School Year Dates: August 19, 2026 – June 3, 2027

Primary Responsibilities
Conduct initial and reevaluation psychoeducational assessments
Complete comprehensive evaluation reports and required documentation
Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
Support special education compliance and evaluation timelines
Assist with intervention planning, progress monitoring, and data review
Promote positive student outcomes through collaborative problem-solving
Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Strong assessment, report writing, and consultation skills
Experience working with PreK through middle school-aged students preferred
