Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field, National certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent), and 1–2+ years recent hospital lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a vital laboratory role ensuring quality diagnostic results with a focus on accuracy and patient care. Healthcare facilities are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician to support laboratory operations in a dynamic contract position.

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • 4x10-hour shifts
  • 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM

Key Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field
  • Current certification as an MLT or MT (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent preferred)
  • Minimum of one year of clinical laboratory experience in a hospital or large healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated proficiency with laboratory equipment, procedures, and instrumentation
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance and laboratory regulations
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication abilities for collaborating with clinicians and laboratory staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate testing on blood, urine, and other clinical samples
  • Analyze lab results, validate findings, and ensure timely reporting for patient diagnosis
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain complex laboratory instruments
  • Adhere to compliance, safety, and quality control protocols
  • Participate in specimen processing, documentation, and data entry within laboratory information systems
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify test orders and share critical results
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and assist in process improvement initiatives within the lab
