Director, Lahey Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Center
Job Description
Become a vital part of our organization by taking on the role of Director at the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center within the Gastroenterology Division.
- Oversee a dedicated team of gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers specializing in IBD, supported by a nurse navigator, an IBD clinic pharmacy team, and a research coordinator.
- Work in close collaboration with top Colorectal Surgeons, Dietitians, and Behavioral Health professionals.
- Protected time will be available for research and administrative responsibilities.
- Active participation in research and academic initiatives is expected.
- Department Size: Comprises 18 physicians and 9 advanced practitioners.
- Patient Volume: Serves approximately 35,000 outpatients annually.
- Procedures: Conducts around 20,000 procedures each year.
- Division Scope: Focuses on IBD, Liver Disease and Transplant, Advanced Endoscopy, Gastrointestinal Motility, and features a Large Endoscopy Suite.
- Recognition: Many team members are acknowledged as leaders in their respective fields, both nationally and locally.

Essential Qualifications:
- Completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology.
- Possess strong academic credentials.
- Exhibit outstanding clinical and leadership abilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in engaging effectively with patients, families, and colleagues across medical, nursing, clinical, and administrative domains.
- Strong work ethic complemented by well-honed organizational skills.

Compensation Range:
$425,000.00 USD - $550,000.00 USD
The salary range provided reflects the annual base pay that the organization anticipates offering for this position at this time. Actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geographical location, productivity, job responsibilities, and other legally permissible considerations. Additionally, this role may qualify for performance-based incentives, which could include bonuses based on productivity and quality metrics.
