Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities during weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

The Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in supporting surgical procedures by ensuring the availability and proper setup of surgical instruments and supplies in the operating room. This position involves assisting the surgeon during operations, adhering to professional and legal standards, and helping with the cleanup of the operating room post-surgery, including the proper handling of equipment and materials. This role reports directly to the Manager.

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP).
• Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) or the ability to obtain it within one year of employment.
• Current CPR and BLS certification, along with participation in annual Validation Day.
• Familiarity with various surgical procedures and the ability to anticipate the surgeon's needs and recognize potential challenges.
• Knowledge of surgical equipment and instrumentation, including their names and functions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strict compliance with policies and regulations regarding the maintenance of a sterile field.
• Understanding of basic patient care and safety principles.
• Application of aseptic techniques to ensure optimal patient care.
• Awareness of emergency situations that may arise in the operating room.
