Quick Facts: Location: 1510 North 28th Street, Richmond, VA 23223 Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date/Duration: 08/31/2026 Shift: Office hours 8 am – 4 pm; call schedule (24/7) Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Locum to Perm License/Certs: Active medical license in VA, Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN Experience: Prior OB/GYN practice experience required Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $19.50/hour Pay Package: Discussed upon application Benefits: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated team support throughout assignment What You’ll Do: Provide OB-GYN outpatient and inpatient care, including low-risk pregnancies and gynecological procedures Perform routine obstetric ultrasounds and interpret fetal monitoring (FHR, NST, CST, FSE) Manage labor and delivery, including vaginal births and C-sections, and handle high-risk cases as needed Conduct gynecological procedures such as IUD placements, cryosurgery, colposcopy, and minor surgeries Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a Level IIID NICU setting Manage approximately 25–30 patients daily and support ongoing patient care What You Need: Active VA medical license and valid certifications 2+ years OB/GYN experience preferred Skills in obstetric ultrasound, fetal monitoring, and surgical procedures Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team About the Assignment: This assignment is with a highly regarded hospital in Richmond, VA, supporting both outpatient and inpatient OB-GYN care.
