Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Skills & Experience Required:
- Valid RN license and eligibility to practice in North Carolina
- 1+ years of recent nursing experience in either Stepdown or PCU settings
- Proficiency with monitoring and caring for patients requiring intermediate care
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Stepdown and PCU patients, closely monitoring for changes in health status
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement care plans
- Utilize advanced monitoring and technology to promptly detect and report patient deterioration
- Educate patients and their families on conditions and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital standards
