Make a genuine difference supporting K–5 students as a skilled school psychologist on an engaging, contract-based assignment near Nesconset, NY. In this vital role, you’ll work within an elementary school environment, collaborating with dedicated educators and support staff to deliver assessments, develop intervention plans, and nurture student success.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Current School Psychologist certification/licensure
  • Previous experience working in a school setting (K–5 preferred)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and student needs
  • Commitment to professional ethics and ongoing growth

Position Details:

  • Contract role, starting as soon as possible
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Serve students across kindergarten through fifth grade
  • Conduct evaluations and facilitate evidence-based support plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and family consultations
  • Provide social-emotional and behavioral interventions within a school community
  • Document progress and contribute to a positive, supportive atmosphere for all students
