Job Description
Step into a dynamic role supporting students across a variety of school sites as a school psychologist on a contract basis. You will work collaboratively with a team of experienced psychologists, serving the needs of approximately 4,500 students distributed among four professionals across ten sites. This position offers a varied daily experience and the opportunity to make a lasting impact through your expertise in evaluation and eligibility determination.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience or coursework in conducting student psychological assessments
- Strong report-writing and documentation abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of special education procedures and eligibility requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments for students
- Determine eligibility for special services based on evaluation results
- Write clear, detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and related service providers to support student success
- Rotate among multiple school sites as part of a close-knit team of school psychologists
- Provide consultation and support in development of interventions as needed
