School Psychologist - Parksley, VA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (state-specific credentials may apply)
• Specialist or doctoral degree in school psychology or related field
• Strong foundation in educational evaluations and eligibility determination
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear, concise report writing
• Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
• Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing school environments

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting psycho-educational assessments and interpreting data for eligibility decisions
• Writing detailed evaluation reports and recommendations
• Participating in IEP/eligibility meetings as a vital team member
• Consulting with teachers, parents, and staff to support student needs
• Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in alignment with school policy
• Traveling between assigned school sites to provide services
