Job Summary
A well-established legal services organization in Downtown Orlando is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy Business Litigation Department. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a highly organized legal professional with strong commercial litigation experience and a solid understanding of Florida state and federal court procedures.
The Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys on complex business litigation matters, supporting cases from discovery through mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation. This role offers the opportunity to join a respected litigation team in a professional, collaborative office environment with supportive leadership, stable long-term career potential, and meaningful involvement in high-level case work.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare deposition subpoenas, trial subpoenas, records subpoenas, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, and other litigation-related filings.
- Coordinate collection, review, summarization, organization, and production of third-party records, discovery materials, and large document sets.
- Support arbitration, mediation, and trial preparation, including preparation of trial notebooks, exhibits, binders, and case materials.
- Conduct legal and factual research using tools such as Lexis, PACER, Accurint, Secretary of State databases, and social media platforms.
- Maintain litigation calendars, monitor deadlines, and coordinate hearings, depositions, court appearances, and case-related communications.
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, courts, vendors, and third parties while supporting a fast-paced business litigation practice.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000 to $95,000 annually, based on experience.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Work arrangement: 100% in-office.
