Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Colorado licensure as a School Psychologist is a must
- Previous experience working in school settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultative abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage time and travel efficiently in an itinerant role across multiple schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to inform instruction and interventions
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for students needing additional academic, emotional, or behavioral support
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team-based planning
- Serve as an advocate for positive mental health, providing crisis intervention when necessary across elementary and high school environments
