Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
• Experience working in elementary school settings preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Ability to travel between two assigned schools as part of your weekly schedule
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
• Deep understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and behavioral interventions

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments of students referred for evaluation
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and support services for students
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to advocate for students’ learning needs
• Deliver workshops or educational sessions for staff and families as needed
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
