School Psychologist - Waterford, MI

Make an impact supporting K-12 students for the full 2026-2027 school year as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment. This is a contract opportunity, offering 37.5 hours per week, working alongside a dedicated team of educators and service providers. With a diverse caseload of students with moderate to severe disabilities, you'll play a crucial role in supporting student growth and positive outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology required
• Valid School Psychologist license for the state of Michigan
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not necessary
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt and provide support across K-12 grade levels

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments
• Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and staff to support student success
• Develop intervention and behavior management strategies tailored to individual student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on education plans
• Offer crisis intervention and social-emotional support as needed
• Maintain accurate records and uphold all state and federal guidelines
