Radiologic Technologist in Jefferson, GA

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Weekend shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• No on-call duties required.

Essential Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required
• Proven experience operating radiographic equipment and performing imaging procedures
• In-depth knowledge of standard practices in a radiology department
• Ability to produce clear, high-quality images while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals
• Current BLS certification preferred

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic imaging exams as ordered by physicians, including X-rays and related modalities
• Prepare and position patients appropriately to achieve optimal imaging results
• Maintain accurate documentation and update records in the department’s information systems
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists for smooth workflow
• Keep imaging equipment clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition
• Support a patient-focused environment by explaining procedures and addressing concerns
