Clinical Responsibilities\n

  • Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with cancer and blood disorders
  • \n
  • Prescribe and manage chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, and targeted therapies
  • \n
  • Monitor patient progress through follow-up visits and diagnostic testing
  • \n
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment options, prognosis, and supportive care resources
  • \n
  • Coordinate care across multiple specialties to ensure seamless treatment delivery
  • \n
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards for complex case discussions
  • \n
  • Stay current with advances in oncology through continuing medical education and professional development

Qualifications\n
    \n
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • \n
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
  • \n
  • Active Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • \n
  • Strong clinical judgment and treatment planning skills
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and patient-centered care approach
