Serve as Associate Medical Director for the Cancer Service Line, helping guide systemwide cancer care initiatives. Lead and mentor over 40 faculty physicians across multiple hospital locations. Manage clinical, research, and academic programs aligned with institutional goals. Oversee expansion and integration of oncology services across hospitals and ambulatory care sites. Maintain a clinical practice (~25%), providing expert patient care within the Hematology/Oncology Division. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative cancer care models. Support education and training efforts, fostering academic growth among faculty and trainees. Drive research initiatives including clinical trials, precision medicine, and population health research. What You Need: Medical license in Michigan; U.S. Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology and Oncology Completion of Hematology/Oncology Fellowship; not open to board eligible or recent graduates Proven leadership experience in an academic or large health system setting Prior oversight of clinical programs, faculty, and research initiatives Strong communication and strategic planning skills EMR experience with Epic preferred About the Assignment: This is a leadership position at a prominent academic health system in Detroit, Michigan, within a nationally recognized Cancer Institute.
