Join Our Team as a Generalist OB/GYN

Our organization, a leading multi-specialty medical group situated just north of Sacramento, is on the lookout for a Generalist OB/GYN to become part of our dynamic team.

This unique position offers the chance to work in a nurturing, physician-led environment that prioritizes a healthy work-life balance, provides strong surgical support, and meets significant community needs.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible.

Practice Highlights

• Flexible clinic hours with a typical 4.5-day workweek (alternative schedules like 4x10s are available).
• Average patient volume of approximately 25 per day, with the option to increase based on personal preference.
• Efficient scheduling templates (15/30 or 10/20 minute appointments).
• Current practice distribution: 60% obstetrics and 40% gynecology.
• Collaborative team of 6 seasoned OB/GYNs and 2 advanced practice providers (Nurse Practitioners).
• Mid-level providers assist with C-sections and may attend deliveries upon patient request.

Surgical & Delivery Support

• Deliveries are conducted at the nearby hospital.
• Gynecological surgeries and procedures take place at our affiliated surgical hospital.
• Access to a fully supported Da Vinci robotic system.
• Consistent block operating room time with minimal scheduling obstacles.
• Strong delivery volume to support practice growth.

Call Schedule

• Call rotation is 1:6, evenly shared among physicians.
• Weekend call covers Friday through Sunday, typically for both OB and GYN patients.
• Weekday call responsibilities rotate among providers, ensuring fair distribution.
• During call periods, physicians generally continue to see patients in the clinic, with the flexibility to adjust hours or take a post-call day off as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive income guarantee for up to 2 years, transitioning to a production-based model.
• Sign-on bonus of up to $20,000.
• Relocation assistance available up to $20,000.
• Residency stipend of up to $3,000 per month for a maximum of 24 months during residency.
• Forgivable loan option up to $200,000.
