Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Advance your ultrasound expertise in a dynamic healthcare setting focused on high-risk obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine. As a contract ultrasound professional, you will collaborate closely with a skilled team, supporting the care of expectant mothers with complex needs.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, with no weekend, holiday, or float requirements
Key Qualifications:
- 1-2 years recent experience in OB/Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) sonography, specifically within the last two years
- Proven ability to scan nuchal translucency (NT) required
- Current ARDMS certification in Obstetrics and BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
- NT certification preferred, but not mandatory
- Familiarity with GE E10 and Expert 22 ultrasound machines is highly beneficial
- Comfortable utilizing GE Viewpoint for imaging documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed Level II scans and first trimester screenings, following AIUM guidelines
- Support procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS under the MFM team’s direction
- Evaluate and scan patients with high-risk conditions, including multiple gestations and fetal anomalies
- Manage a daily caseload of 10–12 outpatients and inpatients in a collaborative environment
- Complete documentation within established workflows and participate in on-site orientation
