Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• Current ARDMS certification required (or eligible)
• Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging procedures
• Familiarity with sonography equipment and safety protocols
• Strong communication abilities and patient-focused attitude
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Prior experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer is strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of general ultrasound imaging exams, ensuring precise image capture and patient safety
• Prepare and position patients for exams, explaining procedures clearly to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Review patient medical histories and document findings accurately in electronic medical records
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues as needed
• Uphold strict standards for infection control and adhere to facility policies and procedures
• Provide compassionate, professional interactions with patients and their families throughout each exam
