Essential Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Experience in assessments, evaluations (initials and re-evals)
- Proficiency developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Understanding of special education processes and IEP participation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student eligibility for services
- Develop and write Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student development
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide expert recommendations, and document findings accurately
- Offer consultative support to educators regarding interventions and student planning
- Support compliance with all federal, state, and district policies
