Quick Facts Location: Marquette, MI Start Date: 06/10/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing; specifics as per assignment Shift: 7a - 7a, 24-hour call coverage Hours/week: Varies (approximately 2-4 hours of onsite call-back daily) Employment Type: Contract Licensure/Certs: State license required; relevant Certifications preferred Experience: Prior experience in urology or related specialties preferred Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $1.00/hour Benefits: Competitive pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements (if applicable) What You’ll Do Provide urology call coverage in a hospital setting, with onsite response within 20 minutes Manage 1-5 patient consults per shift, including kidney stones, stent placements, hematuria management, and complex catheter placements Perform rounding on new admissions and inpatient cases Support discharge planning and patient education Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care and documentation Document all call-back hours and patient interactions accurately for audit purposes Respond to after-hours calls, provide support, and coordinate with the healthcare team What You Need Valid Michigan state medical license (or eligible for licensing) Experience in urology or similar specialty preferred Ability to respond promptly to onsite call-backs Strong communication and clinical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at a reputable hospital serving the Marquette community, providing vital urology services and support.
