Now Hiring: School Psychologists – St. Mary's County Public Schools, MD
ProCare Therapy is partnering with St. Mary's County Public Schools to hire multiple full-time School Psychologists for the 2026-2027 school year. These are onsite opportunities to join a collaborative Department of Student Services dedicated to supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

Position Details

Assignment Dates: August 10, 2026 – June 17, 2027
Schedule: Full-time

Department: Student Services
Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for special education services.
Administer, score, and interpret psychological and educational assessments.
Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and present findings during multidisciplinary and IEP meetings.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to develop individualized supports and interventions.
Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns.
Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and other student support team discussions.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications
Active Maryland School Psychologist license/certification is required.
Master's, Ed.S., or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Eligibility to work as a School Psychologist in the state of Maryland prior to the start of the assignment.
Previous school-based experience preferred.
Strong assessment, report writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
