As part of this assignment, you’ll gain valuable experience working in both an elementary and a middle school, providing vital assessment, consultation, and behavioral support to a diverse student population. Desired Qualifications:
- Active VA DOE Certification
- Active Virginia Psychology Licensure
- Ability to obtain a VA Dept. of Social Services clearance, including TB testing (must begin upon acceptance)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and consultations
- Provide FBA/BIP support and occasional MTSS collaboration
- Support social workers with counseling as needed
- Manage a caseload split between one elementary and one middle school
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; no academic achievement testing required
