Join Our Team as an Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician

Our organization is on the lookout for dedicated Obstetrics Hospitalist Physicians to become part of our collaborative OB/GYN team, which includes hospitalists, community physicians, and midwives. Together, we strive to deliver exceptional, team-oriented care to our patients.

Position Overview

In this role, you will:

• Provide continuous in-house coverage for labor and delivery, available 24/7.
• Manage pregnancies across all risk categories, including low, moderate, and high-risk cases, as well as handle obstetric emergencies and gynecological consultations.
• Perform and assist in both vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and midwives, to ensure the best possible outcomes for mothers and their babies.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in alignment with our TeamBirth philosophy.
• Engage in departmental meetings and contribute to healthcare initiatives aimed at system improvement.

Details & Requirements

• Schedule: 24-hour non-consecutive shifts (from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)
• Practice Setting: Inpatient Obstetric hospitalist role
• Case Types: Labor & delivery, emergency gynecological surgeries, inpatient consultations
• Required Certifications: Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Licensure: Active medical license in Maryland
• EMR System: Epic
