Quick Facts Location: 1775 Thompson Road, Coos Bay, OR 97420 Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: Ongoing/permanent opportunity Shift: 8-hour days (flexible for part-time or full-time) Hours/week: Full-time or part-time options (80 or 48 hours per pay period) Employment Type: Permanent Licensure/Certifications: BE/BC in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology, Oregon medical license, Board Certification required or within 2 years of training Experience: Previous oncology/hematology practice preferred, radiation oncology experience a plus Pay & Benefits Compensation: Competitive pay package over $680,000+ annually, based on experience (full-time rate) Benefits: Competitive pay (discussed at interview) Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Generous PTO, CME allowance, licensing & professional fee reimbursement Relocation assistance (if applicable) Paid sick time per applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Onsite employee health & wellness clinic Onsite child care and learning center Licensure, certification, travel reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide consultative oncology and hematology care for outpatient adult patients Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including radiation oncology, infusion services, cardiology, and radiology Participate in leading-edge clinical trials and research projects Manage patient care planning, treatment modalities, and follow-up Offer support and education to patients and families Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and community outreach What You Need Oregon medical license and NCLEX (or eligible for licensing) BE/BC in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology (certification within 2 years acceptable) Experience practicing outpatient oncology or hematology Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach About the Assignment This position is based at a prominent cancer center affiliated with Oregon Health & Science University, serving southern Oregon’s coastal community.
