Job Description
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students across multiple campuses for the 2026–2027 school year. This role centers on providing essential school psychology services in vibrant South or West Houston locations, making a direct difference in students’ academic and emotional success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold an active Texas School Psychologist credential/licensure (please include a license snapshot and redacted report with your application)
- Demonstrated school-based experience required
- Must be able to work onsite full-time (37.5 hours/week); select hybrid report writing from home may be arranged
- Reliable transportation is necessary to travel between approximately five campuses
- Ability to promptly complete and fund district fingerprinting within the initial three days of the contract
- Prior HISD experience is a plus but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and support individualized education plans for students in need
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and other school staff to design interventions and foster positive student outcomes
- Provide expertise on both behavioral and academic interventions, supporting a diverse range of student backgrounds
- Manage a balanced schedule, supporting approximately five campuses within assigned region
- Complete timely and thorough documentation and reporting as required district-wide
