Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing assessments, consultations, and interventions in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of Special Education processes and relevant federal/state regulations
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate approach to supporting students with varying needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and share results with IEP teams
- Develop appropriate intervention plans to address students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team decision-making
- Work closely with general and special education staff, providing consultation and training as needed
- Deliver group or individual counseling services for students, as identified
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with families to promote positive educational outcomes
