Make a lasting impact on students’ lives while advancing your career as a School Psychologist. This contract position runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027, encompassing both the elementary (K-5) and middle school (6-8) levels. You’ll work with an engaging, diverse caseload of approximately 45-65 students across just one building, ensuring your support remains focused and effective.

Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Master’s or Specialist-level program in School Psychology
  • Active and valid Minnesota School Psychologist license
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs for K-8 students
  • Strong background in counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis response within school settings
  • Excellent collaboration skills for working alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to student advocacy, safety, and well-being

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and track IEPs for students in elementary and middle school caseloads
  • Provide one-on-one and group counseling, as well as behavioral interventions tailored to individual student needs
  • Partner closely with teachers, administration, and parents to create holistic support plans
  • Respond swiftly to crises; support student safety planning and emotional wellness initiatives
  • Offer insights and strategies during multidisciplinary team meetings to promote student success
