Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Hold a current School Psychologist credential or eligibility for certification
• Graduate degree (Ed.S., MA, or PhD) from an accredited program in school psychology
• Previous experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a public school setting
• Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
• Excellent communication and consultation abilities
• Commitment to culturally responsive practices and equity in education

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEPs and eligibility determinations
• Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling when necessary
• Advocate for students’ wellbeing, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines
• Offer expertise on behavioral management and evidence-based practices schoolwide
